Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, J.Anthny is an R&B artist that decided that it was time to focus on his talent and decided to put down the engineering hat and be the artist he was meant to be. He explains his sound to be smooth and gives you what you need to get through the day. With that Saturday morning, cleaning music is ready in the tuck. If you don’t know J. Anthony is like a one-stop shop being able to produce, write, and master a lot of his work.
Being able to speak at group homes pre-pandemic, J.Anthny is looking to make a difference with his words. His inspiration for music comes from within, the human emotion of going through trials and tribulations. Whatever words he isn’t fully able to express, he can paint them for you through his music. He enjoys the fact to be able to create in the studio and showcase his art in front of everybody on stage.
Being an artist full-time, he has turned down a lot of engineering gigs as his craft is the main priority. As he has big plans of trying to get a record label partnership and publishing deal. Through his kids being his big motivation, anything is possible “when you have a family to get you through the journey.”
J.Anthny sees himself as being big like his past collaborator Blxst, but still wants to continue to be an independent artist.
