“The same people that downed you will be the same people who crown you, so don’t focus on the negative; Focus on your purpose,” a great word of advice from rising superstar, PBE Pluto. PBE Pluto is a versatile hip-hop artist that is currently making waves in the music industry. He is a native of Mobile, Alabama who would describe his style as “ down south hip-hop, but with more expression and storytelling over hype club beats.”
He began his musical journey over 10 years ago, but just recently decided to give it his complete focus. He says, “In 2020 I decided to take a gamble on myself and put 100% in and push myself and I definitely started seeing the light and was able to utilize the resources and relationships I built over the years.” All of those years have paid off because he has grown a following of over 600 thousand on Instagram. PBE Pluto has had his music on BET JAMS, MTVU, Revolt TV, and Shade 45. His music has also gotten on the top 100 hip-hop sales charts in the U.S on iTunes.
His journey in life has not been easy, however. He gets much of his musical inspiration from his struggles and uses music as his diary. “I done been blackballed at certain points of my career. There were times when nobody believed in me but me & God. Obstacles were trying to keep pushing through when I felt like everything and everybody was against me.”
As he continues to persevere through these struggles, he hopes to reach his goals of becoming solidified as a mainstream global artist. He wants to collab with “anybody that can benefit my career and help me bring more awareness to my brand in a tasteful way.” He has a new single that’s out titled, “STEPPIN” that he says is his favorite so far.
