Overall, this song has a fun beat with a clear singer and melody.
The chorus repeats the lyric, “It just hit me,” and then a corresponding phrase follows that. The “It just hit me” phrase is repeated throughout the song, but it’s never as much as the chorus, which was nice as it wasn’t overdone. One critique I have is that the lyrics aren’t always on the beat, which can alter the overall feel of the song. At just 2 and a half minutes, this song is the perfect length and I know I’ll be listening to this song on repeat for a few days. Although this song is explicit, I didn’t find the explicit words to be overwhelming or too much, there was a perfect amount throughout the song.
