KingSmoove is an independent artist whose name reflects both his mindset and his sound. He says he has grown to carry himself like a king, while the way he talks and flows has always been described as smooth. Born in Dallas, Texas, KingSmoove spent his early years moving throughout Texas before relocating to California at age eleven. After living in Los Angeles with his aunt and cousins, he eventually settled in the Inland Empire, where he continues to build his career while preparing for his next move.
His latest project, No Love Lost, is inspired by his life experiences with family, friends, lovers, and associates. The tape explores moments where people have let him down, including a close friend leaving him to face a gun charge, a falling out with his biological father while trying to build a business together, and betrayals in his relationships. Through it all, the project reflects both his pain and his determination to stay focused, with the central message that despite everything he has endured, there is still no love lost.
KingSmoove describes his sound as rap with melodic harmonies, noting that his style continues to evolve as he grows as an artist. His inspiration comes directly from his life experiences, and he is currently experimenting with new sounds while working toward singing more comfortably to expand his genre. Influenced by artists such as Shordie Shordie and Kalan.FrFr and A Boogie wit da Hoodie he aims to create music that delivers relatable vibes and a good time.
After four to five years in the industry, KingSmoove has already reached several milestones, including opening for Blueface and collaborating with TeeJay3k and JayDubbTheRuler. He considers meeting his producer and engineer, BubbaUnoBeatz, his greatest accomplishment, crediting him for believing in his vision from the beginning. Looking ahead, KingSmoove’s goals for 2026 are to continue building his business, team, and influence, perform more shows, grow his fan base, and eventually launch his own tour. His biggest motivation is taking care of his mother and loved ones, and his message to fans is simple: be yourself and stand proudly for what you believe in.
