Lil Jon and Pitbull have come together once again to create “JUMPIN,” a fun, party song just in time for summer. “JUMPIN” samples “Jump Around” by House of Pain, a classic track that gets everyone on their feet. The track is immediately energetic, showcasing Pitbull and Lil Jon’s personal musical styles with and the old-school sample in the back.
Recently, samples have taken over the music industry, giving artists an outlet to utilize classic hits while adding their own style and interpretations. Two recent examples include Nicki Minaj’s track “Super Freaky Girl” sampling “Super Freak” by Rick James and Jack Harlow’s “First Class” sampling “Glamorous” by Fergie. Pitbull and Lil Jon have even had their own songs both sampled and remixed as well, proving that successful music can be timeless.
