TINK KEEPS IT REAL ON HER NEW ALBUM ‘THANKS 4 NOTHING’

RnB artist Tink returns with her new, 14-track album ‘Thanks 4 Nothing.’ The Illinois-born singer takes a candid approach to the album, all of the tracks being straight from her heart regarding her emotions and life experiences. She feels as though the title itself as well as the overall message behind the album can have a lot of different meanings, encouraging listeners to relate in their own way.

Her previous release ‘Pillow Talk’ was a sensual and playful album all about love, sex, heartbreak, and the details in between. Although stylistically she has remained in her own lane, fans were interested to see where ‘Thanks 4 Nothing’ would go simply based on the title alone. The “Treat Me Like Somebody” singer goes beyond relatable lyrics, she has a clear sense of looking in the mirror and recognizing not only her worth, but her faults and the desire to grow.

To overall summarize her thought process with this album, in an interview with Rolling Stone, she stated “I wanted to make an album dedicated to single girls or girls going through a breakup or anyone that is just trying to stand on their own…with every song, I wanted there to be a message.”

She will also be taking this album on tour, so be sure to check out the dates for that, and listen to ‘Thanks 4 Nothing’ below!
