After making her name as one-half of City Girls, Caresha Brownlee is ready to show listeners what she can do on her own.
Caresha Brownlee, better known as Yung Miami, is entering a new chapter of her career with ‘Watch Dis!,’ her debut solo album, released October 23. After years of making hits as one-half of City Girls alongside JT, Miami is taking center stage with a 21-track project that brings together Miami rap, club records, star-studded collaborations, and a more personal side of the rapper.
The album arrives after the success of “Spend Dat,” which became a major solo moment for Miami. Rather than let that momentum speak for itself, she’s building on it with a project that shows she has more to offer than catchy hooks and quotable bars.
And the features? Caresha came with a lineup. Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Quavo, G Herbo, Bryson Tiller, Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, and Pleasure P all make appearances. The tracklist also includes collaborations with Davido, Shenseea, and Vybz Kartel on the international remix of “Spend Dat.”
Miami keeps things rooted in her hometown on “Dade County,” bringing together Miami rap legends Rick Ross, Trina, and Trick Daddy. Meanwhile, “2008” nods to the Southern rap sound that helped shape her, and “Put Together” brings the kind of confident energy that feels right at home on a girls’ night playlist.
But the conversation around ‘Watch Dis!‘ isn’t just about the features or the party records. One of the project’s biggest talking points is “Dear JT,” where Miami addresses the fallout between herself and her former City Girls partner. The track takes a more vulnerable approach, looking back at their friendship before fame and everything that changed along the way. For fans who watched the duo rise together, it adds another layer to an already complicated chapter in their story.
After the City Girls officially split in 2024, both artists began carving out their own paths. With ‘Watch Dis!,’ Miami gets the chance to tell her side of the story while showing listeners where she wants to go next.
