A year ago, Dallas-based artist Ari Hann was sitting on his balcony, feeling stuck and jotting notes into his phone. One line about staring at the sky while time slips by became the hook for “Shine,” a song that has since been picked up by a Dallas megachurch with huge weekend attendance, even though it was never written as a religious record. In a single year, Ari has released four singles, built a team he calls stronger than ever, and received a stream of listener DMs he describes as life-changing. His sound is dark, gritty soul-pop, a blend of soul, blues, and moody synth-driven pop that aims for radio-ready hooks while keeping an underground edge. He writes everything himself and works with his producer, Grammy-winning engineer SADER. A new visual for “Hypnotic” drops next month, “Oceans” arrives in November, and a second single follows before the year ends, with 2027 reserved for his first EP. Beyond the music, Ari is focused on community, with a food drive and a charity basketball game underway in Dallas and grassroots efforts in New York, and he hopes to take that work global. “We are the community,” he says, and his message to fans is simple: your current struggle is not your final destination. Signed to AR Records, Ari sees himself touring full-time in five years, living by his motto: “Trust your instincts, pave your own way, and move relentlessly.” For anyone tired of music that all sounds the same, his pitch is simple: let him hypnotize you.
