On December 16th, 2022, when asked on Stake’s livestream what he was looking forward to in 2023, Drake announced going on tour with a nonchalant “Tour. Ah man, I can’t wait…” This will be his first time touring since 2018 with “Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour.”
Following the postponements due to COVID 19, 2023 will be a busy year for artists picking up where they left off regarding tour and music releases. We have already seen so much of this throughout 2022, so we are in for a wild ride this year; Drake in particular has released two albums this past year.
‘Her Loss,’ the Drake and 21 Savage collaborative album, as well as Drizzy’s own personal album ‘Honestly, Nevermind,’ have left fans eager to hear the music live. Both albums include catchy hits that fans were satisfied with following ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ an album that contained various songs that went viral on Tik Tok. Through songs that achieve virality, Drake is able to uphold his status and keep fans happy by branching out onto newer social media platforms, showing his evolution and adaptability as an artist.
