YG KEEPS THE WEST COAST HOT WITH HIS LATEST TRACK “SIGN LANGUAGE”

On October 29th, 2021, Compton rapper YG released a new single titled “Sign Language” along with a classic West Coast-style video. This hot new single is the first follow-up to YG’s last project “Kommunity Service”. The title Sign Language comes from the chorus featuring lyrics like “Twist your fingers up” and “throw your gang up” referencing to flashing gang signs that tend to look almost like sign language. Lyrics on YG’s “Sign Language” feature both his success as well as his tough street attitude. Firing back at rappers and haters, YG comes with lyrics like “that’s not a diss, boy It’s YG aka Chin-Checker, 4Hunnid worth fifty million, I’m a rich stepper.”

The video is classic YG content, featuring low rider cars with hydraulics, women, and gang signs. The video mainly contains YG and his gang cruisin’ down the boulevard in old Cadillacs, as well as posted up in parks with the homies. The lyrics and video show that even with fame and success YG still belongs in the street life. In this track, YG refers to himself as “Mr. Gangsta with designer,” which sums up exactly how YG lives his lavish street life.
