BEYONCÉ INTRODUCTION OF TEAM USA IN THE OLYMPICS

On July 26, the Olympics began, and the best athletes were ready for the best competition. Beyonce posted on Instagram a video of herself singing one of her songs, “YAYA,” from her new album, Cowboy Carter.

Beyonce included the USA Olympians in a new mash-up of the song. In the beginning part of the song, both men’s, Fred Richard, Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Asher Hong, and Stephen Nedoroscik, and women’s gymnastics, Jade Carey, Sunisa “Suni” Lee, Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera, teams. We see most of the Team USA athletes clap and dance to the song. Get a look at America, y’all. These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us, the people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation.” Then she continues to say, “That pride, and that joy, that’s what gets me about this team. And that’s what makes me believe in this team. And that’s why I can’t wait to see what they pull off over these next 16 days. America, give it up for Team USA, the very best of who we are.”

The most notable Olympians that were in the video were “LeBron James, Sha’Carri Richardson, Katie Ledecky, Caeleb Dressel, and so much more. You can view the video on her Instagram or on Youtube.
