In the official remix of Latto’s smash hit “Put It On Da Floor,” the 24-year-old rapper features Cardi B. The revised song’s official music video was also just published.
Latto released her most recent solo track, “Put It on da Floor,” back in April. In the original version, Latto mentions the late Shawty Lo and calls for a stop to online feuds, advising anyone with a fight with her—and anyone who might be identified online—to settle it in person.
During the opening weekend of Coachella, the original tune was first made available. Money pours down in the video, from a home party to a diamond store, demonstrating how the remix has boosted it. By including Cardi B, the music boosts quality rap energy, demonstrating the emerging strength of woman’s rap.
Alongside the Bronx-raised rapper, the video includes cameos from Offset, Angel Reese, and more.
Last year, Latto’s newest album, 777, included the popular song “Big Energy,” was released. She followed it in February with a brand-new song called “Lottery.” She was a Grammy nominee for Best New Artist in the same month but lost to eventual winner Samara Joy.
