Recently food partnerships have swept the music industry. Food and music collaborations have proven to drive sales and create a buzz on social media. Nicki Minaj is the latest artist to do a food partnership. Nicki Minaj will partner with Rap Snacks to launch “Barbie-Que Honey Truffle Chips.” These barbeque-flavored chips are Rap Snacks’ newest addition. This new snack pays homage to Nicki and her fanbase. Minaj often refers to herself as “Barbie” and her loyal fan base is known
as the “Barbz.”
Rap Snacks has partnered with artists before like Migos and Fabolous to name a few. Not only does this black-owned business sell chips, but they also sell noodles, popcorn, and even lemonade. Rap Snacks are sold at Sam’s Club and Walmart stores throughout the country and can also be purchased online.
Although there is no word on when the snacks will be available in stores, expect the Barbz to go crazy when they do! You can sign up for “early VIP access” for the “Barbie-que” chips. This allows you to preview Nicki’s bag design and flavors, as well as the chance to get the snack before anyone else. Click the link below for more information.
