The long-awaited MTV VMAs are coming up this August 28th and will take place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. Last year Doja cat killed it as both a performer and as the host. It was just announced that there will be an unexpected yet highly entertaining host or hosts. Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J, and Jack Harlow will serve as the emcees for the 2022 MTV VMAs. They’ll take turns introducing performers, presenters, and winners, and of course, keep us on our toes throughout the entire night.
It has been predicted that Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, and Harry Styles currently lead with the most nominations. Followed by Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Elish, and Dua Lipa. Nicki will also be receiving MTV’s coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award as well as performing live. Other performances will feature Bad Bunny, K. Balvin, Jack Harlow, Lizzo, and many more! The night will be filled with unexpected turns and show-stopping performances.
MTV considers this trio to be a more “innovative and unique approach” to what has been done in the past. This is definitely the year to watch the MTV Video Music Awards! Make sure to tune in on August 28th at 8:00 pm EST/PST on MTV and other networks.
