New York native Rey is ready to go platinum this year. He is an Indie artist who is ready to make his mark in the music scene. Rey decided to pursue music in Highschool and hasn’t looked back since. The artist was inspired by the Evolution of Hip-Hop and that is the type of music he likes to create. Rey also loves the freedoms, creative space, and energy that comes with being an artist.
Rey’s sound could be described as unique and a breath of fresh air. He has released one album so far and loves every song. He feels as if each song is unique and they do not all sound the same. The artist feels that people should listen to his music because he has a song that everyone can relate to.
Rey’s road to being an artist has not been smooth. There have been a lot of blockages and obstacles in his journey but he credits God for still being here through those blockages and obstacles. Some of his favorite accomplishments are being on the radio in New York and in the Dominican Republic as well as hearing his records in clubs.
