New Music

This week we saw the release of what might just be the summer song of 2022: Muni Long’s “Baby Boo” ft. rising rapper Saweetie. This track features all of the required elements to make it a hit. It has a perfectly upbeat tempo to it, a catchy hook, and of course amazing lyrics, courtesy of both Muni Long and Saweetie. The release came at the perfect time, as summer is just getting started.

The lyrics say it all. This track is all about a summer fling that you want to keep. Muni Long challenges her feelings while singing “Baby, I wanna lock you down” and “I know you might think it’s too fast / But if we try, I think we can make this last”. It encapsulates what it’s like to feel warm and fuzzy over a newfound crush. Muni Long undoubtedly knows the recipe for a popular and catchy summer hit.

The platinum singer is staying on the rise. Her single, “Hrs and Hrs”  was a viral hit on TikTok. The number of videos featuring this audio surpassed over 1.5 million. She recently signed a recording contract with Def Jam Records and is not wasting a single moment. Muni Long is said to be working on new projects under this new contract.
