After already releasing the well-received “CUFF IT,” from her most recent album ‘RENAISSANCE,’ Beyoncé drops a new version of the track titled “CUFF IT (WETTER REMIX).” The original track is a fun and playful, dance song that gives off positive vibes and can get anyone on their feet. So, fans were intrigued by what the remix would have to offer.
The remix was dropped as a surprise on Twitter by DJ Esentrik who worked on the track with Bey. The “CUFF IT (WETTER REMIX)” is a sexy and sultry take on the upbeat track utilizing a more RnB style instrumental. While this style is not new for Bey, it is an interesting remix based on the original track as well as the ‘RENASSAINCE’ album in its entirety. In addition to the stylistic changes, she also added a new opening verse “Baby, make it rain / Don’t let go ’til it storms again (Night) / I pray that this will never end / My love, love, cuff it, don’t stop / Let me love you to the remix”
This of course, buzzed even more excitement among fans in addition to her announcement of the upcoming ‘RENISSANCE’ world tour. Much of the Beyhive are curious to see if she incorporates this version on the setlist while anticipating the perfomances.
