As summer closes, Coi Leray returns with a moody EP titled ‘Blue Moon.’ The project came shortly after her latest album ‘COI’ which was just released in June. Leray took to Instagram to tease “2 more days until the infamous Blue Moon EP. August 30th, you will see the Super Blue Moon. According to NASA, the next one won’t come until 2026.”
Apple Music describes this EP as “Jersey’s most dependable hitmaker gets vulnerable for a five-song set.” Being a young, new artist in the game, Leray is constantly under a lot of pressure in the industry. She decided to show vulnerability in these tracks both as a process of healing but also to show fans a bit more about herself and her perspective on life.
Despite the pressure she feels, Coi Leray has enjoyed her rise to fame which happened quickly. Her tracks have made waves on Tik Tok and she has proven her abilities as an artist; “No More Parties,” “Twinnem,” and “Players,” are all examples of viral tracks.
