DJ Mustard has officially released his highly anticipated fourth album, Faith of a Mustard Seed. The Los Angeles producer, known for his signature West Coast sound, delivers a soulful project, five years after his platinum-selling Perfect Ten. The album’s title, suggested by the late Nipsey Hussle during the Perfect Ten sessions, reflects the deeper, more introspective tone Mustard explores this time around.
Faith of a Mustard Seed features an impressive lineup of collaborators. The album’s lead single, “Parking Lot,” features Travis Scott, while the ten-minute closing track, “Pray For Me,” sees Mustard stepping into the booth with two verses of his own—a rare move for the producer. The project also includes appearances from Vince Staples, ScHoolboy Q, Ty Dolla $ign, and Charlie Wilson. Roddy Ricch joins Ella Mai for “One Bad Decision,” and gospel legend Kirk Franklin sets the tone on the album opener.
With Faith of a Mustard Seed, DJ Mustard cements his status as one of hip-hop’s top producers, delivering a project that’s as reflective as it is star-studded.
