Drake has returned to end the summer with his single ‘100 GIGS’ which includes three new tracks; “It’s Up,” with Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows (feat. Latto).”
In typical Drake-fashion, “Housekeeping Knows” is upbeat and fun while conveying themes of desire and closeness. Drake begins the first verse with playful lyrics, “I can’t get no eight hours of sleep / Not when you here layin’ next to me / It’s like the third time switchin’ out the sheets / Housekeeping must know that we some freaks.” The verse itself is overall melodic and catchy, summarizing what the track is all about.
Latto comes in on the second verse bringing a similar energy. A standout bar to capture this is, “Latto givin’ chills, Latto givin’ thrills / He got home from work and now I’m naked in some heels.” The Atlanta rapper generally has a playful vibe, making her the perfect feature for this track.
