‘’Hate Our Love’’ drops at the perfect time. In February the month of love also, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Queen Naija and Big Sean team up to release a new steamy single. In this song, Naija is fictionally singing to her man and mentions how people are hoping for their relationship to not work out. Naija also expresses how it won’t let it get to her and their love is too strong.
Anyone in her position will notice one of her lines sticking out: “The moment I leave, I miss being around you”. Then Big Sean hops on and lays more emotional bars. This doesn’t feel like the typical rap beat but he drops great bars about his girl. A good example is this one: “I could see my future with you, cause I met you in the past life, Mi Amor”. If you’re a fan of the rapper, you aren’t the only that wonders if all those love quotes he drops are about Jhené Aiko!
