A mixtape of all things is what the iconic Niki Minaj released for us last week! For All The Barbz is a cheeky spin on Drakes’s “For All The Dogs” and loops in the one and only Chief Keef. All the Barbs know that Niki’s 2010 album “Pink Friday” placed her on the queen of rap pedestal. Niki has released her fair share of hit music since that time but fans have long awaited the promised “Pink Friday 2”.
The queen of rap has been building up suspense for the project by releasing little surprises here and there leading up to its eventual release.
The song was originally meant to be on Drakes’s new album “For All The Dogs” so it comes as a surprise to fans for it to appear on Niki’s “For All The Barbs” instead. The Freestyle has an old school soundcloud vibe touching its roots when “Pink Friday” came out. Niki claims her crown as rap queen in the song by throwing subtle shade at other well-known female rappers in the industry. If this song proves anything to us it’s that Niki stays true to her unapologetic style of rapping and is here to stay!
