Saweetie, Tyga, and YG have come together on their new tack “Birthday.” The track is upbeat, funky, and is all about going out and celebrating your birthday. Fans were stoked to hear about the collaboration since the trio as individuals have all released a multitude of fun tracks, perfect for parties, clubs, and the summertime. Additionally, the collaboration is interesting from a fan perspective since they each have specific styles of rap they are known for; “Birthday” is able to showcase their individual talents while still combining the rappers as a solid trio.
The track was released on the same day as Saweetie’s other track “SHOT O’ CLOCK,” making it a big day for the “My Type” rapper. Saweetie has grown quite successful over the last few years, releasing tracks that hit the charts and have gone viral on Tik Tok; “Tap in” in particular was accompanied with a dance trend that went around the app for a while, making the song very popular. Fans are always excited to see her next step, making “Birthday” as well as “SHOT O’ CLOCK” a big deal.
