Flo Milli’s latest version of “Never Lose Me” features SZA and Cardi B. The song dropped with Flo Milli’s newest album, Fine Ho, Stay, on March 15, being the fifth track.
About two months prior to the release of the feature, on Jan. 19, Flo Milli posted on X a screenshot of a text conversation between her and SZA. In hindsight, SZA texted a screenshot of her own post on X, which happened to be the actual lyrics of her verse in “Never Lose Me”.
The first and original version of “Never Lose Me” released at the end of November last year. In fact, “Never Lose Me” debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, taking a spot at No. 84. This was Flo Milli’s first hit to debut on the Hot 100 chart.
Within a month of the release of “Never Lose Me”, Flo Milli put out several versions of the song, including two with features from Lil Yachty and Bryson Tiller. Other versions were a slowed and sped up version of the track.
On Dec. 15, Flo Milli came out with a music video for “Never Lose Me” directed by Leff. The video is set in Houston at five in the morning, portraying nightlife.
