Diss tracks, nostalgia, and tributes, oh my! These mixed feels are all featured on The Game’s 11th album, ‘Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind’, which includes 29 tracks. The album highlights two singles, “Easy” with Kanye West and “Stupid” with Big Sean. Other artists such as Drake, Ice-T, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T and Rick Ross all made an appearance to collab on ‘Heart vs. Mind’.
The album takes a turn with “The Black Slim Shady”, a 10-minute diss track aimed at Eminem. The Game mimics the style of Eminem in the diss and directly names a few members from Slim Shady’s life including his daughter Hailey, Dr. Dre and even 50 Cent.
The Game took to social media to say, “This Album has a strong hold on being the best album of my career”, and that it would help fans “understand” why he is “the best rapper alive”. The Game even created a TikTok before the album released with the caption “My daughter told me to stay off TikTok”. The video was proof that an album was in fact on the way, and had fans excited for the release.
‘Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind’ can now be streamed on all platforms. Take a listen to the album below!
