Yung Bleu has just released his latest album ‘Love Scars II.’ The album has 15 new tracks with a few features including Tink, Chris Brown, and Ty Dolla $ign. Additionally, it is a sequel to his previous album ‘Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotion.’
The Alabama artist continues with his RnB/Soul style that fans are used to while attracting new audiences. Apple Music describes this album as “A tender mix of melody, wounded romance, and unresolved emotions.” The title itself lends to the idea that love is not an easy emotion and that people can be emotionally scarred from failed romance. This concept can also be found on the track “Games Women Play” which was a pre-release to the album.
The lyrics in the chorus of “Games Women Play” says, “The games that women play / You think you a player, but you ain’t got sh*t / On the games that women play.” Bleu is expressing here that even though men can play games with women, women themselves can play games just as much, and can leave a man broken; Love and heartbreak are the two biggest concepts represented in ‘Love Scars II.’
