Toronto’s Favorite has seemingly come out of his hibernation. Drake has decided to take an interesting route for his rollout for his new music. His new album seemingly has the name ‘Iceman’ for one main reason: his new demeanor after the last year and a half of his life. Iceman now has its first two singles or maybe they are just loosies from the album process, but there are two songs nevertheless.

The first was premiered on his first ‘Iceman’ Livestream where Drake is seen doing a number of things. First starting with the ‘Take Care’ rapper working with ice, then going into him rapping in front of the artillery before going into him being followed driving a box truck in Toronto. This song as we know now is ‘What Did I Miss’. ‘What Did I Miss’ premiered at #2 on the charts, just slightly short of Drake breaking Michael Jackson’s #1 songs record. There is clearly irony in this song because of recent events, but it does also offer you a different perspective. Past the derision, it also draws you to what could have Drake missed in his old relationships with friends that made them eventually go sour after the circumstances. This record also ends with a classic beat switch by the ‘$$$4U’ artist that he has been known for over his whole career, especially working in Noah “40” Shebib. The next song he released has a whole different vibe than the first.

This track ‘Which One’ is definitely what one would want their typical single to sound like. It’s upbeat, vibey, and is built for a party/club environment. It also helps that he linked up with one of the UK’s biggest artist in Central Cee. They both spit impressive verses before going into another infamous beat switch. Rather these are two singles for ‘Iceman’ or just pre-album loosies, we are yet to know, but Drake definitely came back with that fire for us as both landed top 10 first week.
