First thing, we noticed going into the video is the black and white. With the sonics, a lot of people were expecting an extremely colorful video. One, I understand, but this video takes place in an old Nokia when it was only black and white. It is a throwback as you can see from the intro being the old IMAX introduction.

With a song/video of this magnitude and the last year Drake has had, I expected a ton of imagery, and there was a ton that meets the eye. Beginning with Drake appearing in front of a huge OVO sound logo, the size of this logo is something that will be relevant to a lot of this video as I believe he is doing this to show that despite all the negativity, he is still the biggest in the game.

A few scenes later, we see a woman appearing on what looks like a scale of Downtown Toronto but the size of the figures, the woman is vastly larger. Next, it is a slew of women dancers, then Drake comes into the scene, where he clearly is the largest figure. After the beat change, the video contains a lot less people where we even get an appearance of Potential NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous Alexander. Alexander is also Canadian and is a Converse Athlete, who is owned by Nike, who Drake has a contract with. As well as in the scene, it matches the lyrics “take a pic for the whole world” as Shai is getting pictures taken of him.

Drake is then seen under a blimp saying “Where’s the Function?” while talking to a woman on an old Nokia. We get to a part where they are craving a huge Chrome Heart symbol and Drake comes into view with a jacket with what looks like hundreds of Chrome Heart symbols. As we know, Drake had a collaboration with Chrome Hearts during the Certified Lover Boy Days. As the video concludes, we get another view of the dancers, some more OVO imagery with the owls, and a back view of somebody in a directors chair with an old IMAX camera. Drake has delivered another hit 16 17 years with a creative music video with loads of advertisement and imagery. It makes you wonder what else the $$$4U Superstar has up his sleeve.
