Future is back with his new project “Mixtape Pluto” to continue his hype train. He finally brings his alter ego Pluto back after a long hiatus. Future visits his roots in a refreshing way, but still sticking to his weapons.

Future demonstrates his solo lyrical ability on each of the 17 tracks of this mixtape. This project has no features, but he utilizes his diverse skillset to make sure the mixtape doesn’t sound repetitive. The cover art features the iconic Dungeon studio where many hip-hop legends have birthed their careers from. He pays homage to Atlanta’s music scene while recognizing that he’s one of the founding fathers.
The track “READY TO COOK UP” stands out as it has polished production and a similar sound to one of his earliest tracks “Dirty Sprite”. He also opens up to fans on the track “LOST MY DOG” where he mourns a friend that he lost to addiction. This song reveals his real-life struggles and demonstrates his ability to infuse that into his music. He navigates themes of joy, sorrow, pleasure, and pain that make each track a different roller coaster. This album is a nostalgic trip for long-time fans of Future while appealing to new listeners as well.
