Kanye West has finally returned with new music. Now, we know Mr. West is one of the most unique stars we have ever seen in music for a multitude of reasons. Rather, it be the actual music, the influence in fashion, or just the interesting ways he rolls out. This new music is another one of those interesting roll out, ‘Bully’ has been leaked, ripped, and flipped in a number of ways, but these are some of the few real songs that we have from this project. We have three new tracks ‘Preacher Man’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and ‘Damn’ that were released exclusively on Tidal.

Beginning with ‘Preacher Man’, this song includes another soulful sample in the background which remains fairly simple for most of the song, but you do get some build up. It includes lyrics where he says “The only G.O.A.T., the genius one” obviously discussing his decades long run, before he lets the beautiful sample gracefully end the song before going into an outro with added instruments.
Next with ‘Beauty and the Beast’, which also has another soulful sample. It is the shortest of the three. The Chicago rapper talks about “It being a long time coming”, but a long time coming for what exactly. He doesn’t say too much on this track as he lets the instrumentation and the ambience do most of the work. Just a part of the genius of the great Kanye West.

Lastly with ‘Damn’, this track has the least instrumentation of all three. This track is highly focused on the ‘Late Registration’ rapper’s vocal. It features higher pitched Ye vocals with autotune, something very similar to his ‘808s and Heartbreak’ sound. This track seems to feature a more emotional West here, who is reminiscing, but not regretful as he claims he has “Gave it all he had”. These three tracks from ‘Bully’ give a clear sonar direction that Kanye is going in. Dark, but soulful instrumentals, melodic flows, and a deeper dive into his vulnerableness. West has been at the top of the rap game for 20 years and counting, so anytime he drops music, the world will tune in. Should not be any different with ‘Bully’
