The Grammy-nominated rapper from Atlanta is taking his talents to the food industry and partnering with Walmart to deliver his own premium frozen pizza brand called Yachty’s Pizzeria. Lil Yachty’s frozen pizza line involves four varieties, Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni and Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. All of the pizzas are priced at $6.98.
“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time. We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think,” said Yachty.
Rappers collaborating with big brands is not anything new, but it is great to see companies give these artists opportunities to venture out and expand their business. Hopefully, it continues as we get to witness a lot of great ideas presented to the world and gives consumers a bit of excitement to see their favorite artists do big things outside of music.
