Moneybagg Yo and GloRilla have collaborated for the first time on their new track “On Wat U On.” Both of their voices go hard on this track and the words go even harder. Over a fire beat, the two rap about relationship flaws. “On Wat U On” empowers people to do their best in a relationship and not let anyone change their character.
After the viral hit single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” GloRilla signed with CMG, Yo Gotti’s label. In the fall of 2022, GloRilla released “Tomorrow 2” ft. Cardi B and her debut EP Anyways, Life’s Great. Early last year, Moneybagg Yo released his fourth studio album A Gangsta’s Pain. The album featured the popular singles “Hard For The Next,” “Time Today” and “Wockesha.” More recently he dropped the single “Quickie.” GloRilla and Moneybagg Yo appeared on CMG’s compilation album Gangsta Art.
At the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, GloRilla took home the award for Best Breakthrough Artist. 2023 is projected to be another year of success for GloRilla. She has been nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 2023 Grammy’s for her smash hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” Spotify highlighted her as one of 2023’s artists to watch. It was recently confirmed that GloRilla will be performing at this year’s Coachella in April.
In the music video, the GloRilla and Moneybagg Yo get into a heated argument while at a fast food drive-through. They take the argument to their apartment complex. If you are a fan of the movie Baby Boy you’ll love this video, as the pair reenacted a scene from it.
