Excuse me, do we have a problem? Nicki Minaj is back with her new single “Do We Have A Problem?” featuring Lil Baby. The track is accompanied by a 9-minute long music video starring the two artists, as well as Cory Hardrict and Joseph Sikora. The entire video plays out like a spy movie, where Nicki Minaj plays an agent on a mission. The beginning of the video is filled with actual dialog, acting, and letterboxing to make it look like a real film.
The song itself has a very melodic and modern vibe to it. This fresh melodic, trap-influenced sound might be something we hear throughout a future possible project.
The last project she put out was technically, ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’, a re-release of her 2009 mixtape. She surprised fans with a couple of new songs on there as well, such as “Fractions” and “Seeing Green”. However, it’s been over three years since the release of her last studio album titled ‘Queen’. Hopefully, this new single means that there might be a fifth studio album on the way.
“Do We Have A Problem” features some great wordplay and lyricism from both MC’s.
