Listen up everyone, Offset has done it again! On October 13th, Offset released his sophomore album, Set It Off, and it has taken the media and music industry by storm! Within just two weeks of the album’s release, the album sits at No.2 on the Billboard charts for Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. This album was released through Motown Records and features big artists such as Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Chlöe and more!
Set It Off is Offset’s second solo studio album release with his first one being, Father Of 4, back in 2019 which also had major success during its release. This album was meant to represent a rapper who is consistently going above and beyond to challenge himself and evolve. In an interview with Apple Music, Offset said, “My whole mission for this album was to not get caught up in I’m that guy, I feel like sometimes when you get caught up in that, you create the same thing because you’re comfortable in that element”. He wants us to know that this album was something that pushed him out of his comfort zone and allowed him to be vulnerable with his fans, especially in light of the tragic death of his dear friend and former Migos rapper, Takeoff in November last year.
Set It Off contains 21 tracks with top songs being, ”Fan”, “Worth It” and ”Say My Grace”. This album is a true gift to his fans and he continues to show us his talent with his top tier rhyme flow. Go listen to Set It Off now on your favorite music streaming service!
