Whether it be making a new song a hit, making an artist go viral, or even reviving an old classic, it is no secret that Tik Tok has had a major impact on the music industry. There are even music producers and DJs that showcase their work on the app, often by making remixes to popular songs, or sometimes popular sounds that are trending. One example of this is the creator Tiagz who took a funny video and turned the audio into a hit track “They Call Me Tiago.”
Recently, in a similar fashion, creator That Chick Angel alongside Kevon Stage commentated on a video titled “Lady Teaches About Abstinence at LSU” in which the viral sound “Give her one margarita and she will spread her legs” took Tik Tok by storm as many viewers think the woman’s speech is funny. Angel took that line and rapped “Give me one margarita imma open my legs / Give me two margaritas imma give you some head / Give me three margaritas imma put it in my puss / give me four margaritas imma put it in my tush,” which added to the comedic discourse regarding the original video. Music producer Casa Di then used Angel’s verse and created a song out of it, later going viral on Tik Tok.

“One Margarita (Margarita Song)” instantly became a hit and now has multiple remixes on the market. The biggest by far features Saucy Santana, an artist who is no stranger to Tik Tok with hits including “Material Girl,” “Walk Em Like a Dog,” and “Booty.” The collaboration was right up Santana’s alley and overall the track was well received by fans.
