In 2022, Queen Naija had a successful year. Her single “Hate Our Love” ft. Big Sean was released. Queen Naija collaborated with BabyFace on his album Girls Night Out. She opened for Mary J Blige during her Good Morning Gorgeous Tour. The Detroit native started off the new year with the release of her new single “Let’s Talk About It.” “Let’s talk about it” is the definition of R&B. Everything from the story, vocals, and fire beat proves that Queen Naja is talented.
Queen Naja is unapologetic, honest, and authentic on this track. She talks about how men don’t take care of business and what they are lacking. Queen Naja gets real singing, “Always think you know it all, you don’t know what’s best for you / Why
you scared of therapy? Probably can’t accept the truth / Ain’t man enough to right your wrongs / Flashin’ money like we can’t see all them ones / Always at the club but can’t pick up your son.”
Actor Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. plays the lead role in the music video. The two are in an empty warehouse where she gets to the bottom of things. In the video, Lil Meech shows his hypocritical ways as Queen Naija forces him to think about his past behavior. After saying her goodbyes, Queen Naija drives off into the night. Sara Lacombe directed this dramatic music video.
