Coachella Weekend One is a wrap. Headliners Lana Del Ray, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat will perform. No Doubt will also perform again; it has been almost a decade since they last performed. Here is a quick rundown of what happened and fun events. Tyla was set to perform on Friday, 12, and 19. Due to an injury, she postponed her world tour and canceled her Coachella performance.
Friday:
Lana Del Ray came on the set with bikers and brought out Billie Eilish. Playing her well-known popular songs
Lil Uzi Vert showed off a new song. Bizarap an Argentinian singer brought out Sharkia
No Doubt brought Olivia Rodrigo out and sang “Don’t Speak” and “I’m Just a Girl”.
Saturday:
Tyler, the Creator, headlined Saturday night with surprise guests A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino, Charlie Wilson, and Kali Uchis. This is his first time headlining and his third time performing, although he has made surprise appearances. You can see most of his performances on his YouTube.
Ice Spice showed off a new song, which has samples of Sean Paul, and celebrities in her crowd, like Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelcie.
Sunday:
Doja Cat is the second black woman to headline at Coachella, and the first is Beyoncé. She also brought out A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, and Teezo Touchdown. With her performance with dancing Yetis, mud pit, and a t-rex skeleton
YG Marley brought out his mother, Miss Lauryn Hill, and Wyclef Jean having a mini Fugees Reunion.
Reneé Rapp brought out Ke$ha and sang her well-known song, “TikTok.” J Balvin brought out Will Smith so he could perform “Men in Black.” Smith wore a suit and tie with sunglasses to tie the look together.
