Dallas-based artist Ari Hann is making a differnet kind of noise. Part soul, part blues, part dark synth-pop, the sound is radio-ready with a gritty edge.
It took ten years of lessons and setbacks to get here. The turning point came last year, when he was stuck and venting on his balcony, jotting notes into his phone. One line, about staring at the sky while time flies past, became the hook for “Shine.” The song since has been picked up by a Dallas meghachruch, even though it isnt a religious track. “When you do it right, its for everybody” Hann says. Four singles are now out, including the standout “Hypnotic” with a new visual dropping next month! “Oceans” will be coming this November, along with one more single that follows before the end of the year. In 2027, Hanns focus is his first EP.
Everything so far has been grassroots, from New York to Dallas. He’s also giving back to the community, with a food drive and a charity basketball game with hopes that it will be taken global. In Hanns words, “We are the community”
Off the mic, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing poker and spades and games with his friends. His motto: “Trust your instincts, pave your own way and move relentlessly”. His message to his listners is simple: your current struggle isnt the final destination. Keep fighting, protect the mind, and “Let’s conquer the dark together”
This is a movement, and it’s just getting started.
