The new single is something a bit different for the artist as she opens up about anxiety, pain, and hardships she has endured in her life. The chanty beat and dark instrumentals make for an ominous sound adding a more rock feel, unlike anything Megan has released before.
This will be the first single that Megan released on her own label as she recently revealed that she was no longer signed to a label. She noted that the album was completely “Megan funded” as she just settled a three-year-long legal battle with her old record label. The legal battle was not the only major hardship that Megan has faced in recent years, her song reflects many battles that she has delt with.
Megan touches on all the things in her life that have left her feeling depressed, anxious, and at rock bottom, with lyrics like; “damn I got problems Never thought a b**ch like me would ever hit rock bottom Man, I miss my parents Way too anxious, always cancel my plans”. She lets it all out for the world to hear venting about everything from death to breakups and court cases.
