Hailing from Union Gap, Washington, Price $olo is an artist whose name, sound, and vision are rooted in raw honesty. Originally going by Pricetag, a high school rap beef and being labeled a loner inspired him to embrace the name Price $olo—a symbol of individuality and the reality that, no matter who surrounds us, we face life’s deepest battles alone.
Union Gap, a small town often overshadowed by neighboring Yakima, shaped Price $olo’s perspective and passion. Today, he still calls it home, reflecting on life from his grandpa’s deck, surrounded by the wildlife of his hometown.
Musically, Price $olo blends hip-hop, rap, emo, and alternative vibes into what he calls emo rap. His lyrics are filled with pain, wit, and storytelling, pulling inspiration from legends like Tupac and Lil Peep to modern artists like Corbin and Joji. Growing up, he was immersed in music, from his dad’s old-school hip-hop and R&B playlists to his grandpas playing country and accordion tunes, which laid the foundation for his diverse sound.
After years away from music while working retail, Price $olo rediscovered his passion in his early 20s. One studio session turned into a moment of clarity—this was what made him feel alive. Now, with goals of playing more shows, growing his fanbase, and one day collaborating with his favorite artists, Price $olo continues to push his craft forward while staying motivated by the love and support of his family.
Price $olo has a lot of new music on the way, so stay tuned! In the meantime, you can check out his latest visual below.
