This release follows a decade-long gap since the last installment of the series. Fans have been craving more and he answered their wishes. The album features heavyweights such as Ty Dolla $ign, Mustard, Mozzy, Tee Grizzley, and West Coast artists such as Kalan.FrFr and Saweetie. Each of these artists bring a unique sound to each track that compliment YG perfectly.
The production on “Just Re’d Up 3”, was led by Mustard, but also featured other notable producers. The production is very polished, but have a raw edge that compliment YG’s unfiltered lyrics. The production also varies from song to song, allowing YG to explore different sides of himself. He navigates through club-ready anthems of “RIGHT NOW” and “SHE PRETTY” to the hard-hitting street narratives in “KNOCKA” and “VIOLENCE”.
