“Compton Globetrotter” was released on September 9th and consists of 14 tracks. The album features artists such as BlueBucksClan, Kalan.FrFr, Blueface, and many others. The album includes heavy beats, witty verses, and fast-paced elements. Although only 37 minutes long, 1TakeJay jumps straight in from the first track and lets his personality and style shine directly through.
The animated and creative cover art also features 1TakeJay himself in a packed basketball stadium. Tracks ‘Social Media‘, ‘Woman Crush‘, ‘Throat Goat‘, ‘IMMA FLIRT‘, and ‘Proud of U‘ include music videos, and he even recreates the conceited reaction meme that was primarily popular on Twitter!
Between the tracks themselves, the delivery both lyrically and visually, 1TakeJay proves more and more that firstly, West Coast rap is in great hands and lastly, this is what he came to do and he’s having fun with it.
