Even from the confinements of prison, Young Thug still manages to grace us with his lyricism on his new track, “From A Man”. This track was released on October 13th and in this song you hear Young Thug reflecting on his experiences and his wants in life. Now, interestingly enough, his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, also released a single titled ”From A Woman”.
Although, the tracks may not be directly related to one another, it can be determined that they are companions to each other or that there is some conversation being had amongst the two tracks. Even from the cover arts of the tracks, you can see that both covers are pictures of feet in shoes along with this red color scheme to it.
In Young Thug’s, “From A Man”, you hear him say, ”Real love inside me got me coming home nightly/A real redbone tryna come wife me/No more one night, more like nightly” implying that he is changing his ways in life when it comes to women and how he chooses to love. Then, Mariah The Scientist says something along similar lines by saying, “I roll the dice and take a chance/Won’t let no one say I can’t/Won’t call you “Slime” cause it don’t fit/I see you as more than this” telling us that she deeply cares for Young Thug and that she has built this level of trust for him that is more than meets the public eye.
Overall, this track sends a message about making changes in one’s life for the better of themselves and those around them. This upbeat and free flowing track is one worth listening to and you should check out. It’s available now on all platforms.
