Tyga, YG, and Blxst have teamed up to create a chill, summertime track. Despite its relaxed mood, “West Coast Weekend” is all about partying and having fun on the weekend. The lyrcis in the chorus go, “Ayy, it’s a party on the weekend / Got a lil’ shawty, we creepin’ / Throw somethin’ in my cup / But I still can’t show no love” The track samples Tupac’s “All About You,” encompassing old-school, California hiphop vibes and general west coast culture.

Everyone in the industry has been trying to create the perfect summer anthem, making this laidback track both refreshing and unique. “West Coast Weekend” is perfect for a pool day, casual hangouts, and driving with the windows down. The track should definitely please fans and is bound to be successful.

The release of “West Coast Weekend” comes not long after each artist released their own music, building hype for the collaboration. YG with his single “Qui Sont Les Vrais ?” Tyga with his latest track “Day One,” and Blxst with his EP ‘Just For Clarity 2.’ The trio have showcased an interesting dynamic and have done well at blending their individual styles together.
