The lyrcis in the chorus go, “Ayy, it’s a party on the weekend / Got a lil’ shawty, we creepin’ / Throw somethin’ in my cup / But I still can’t show no love” The track samples Tupac’s “All About You,” encompassing old-school, California hiphop vibes and general west coast culture.
Everyone in the industry has been trying to create the perfect summer anthem, making this laidback track both refreshing and unique. “West Coast Weekend” is perfect for a pool day, casual hangouts, and driving with the windows down.
