Vic Mensa released a new track late last month. On April 21st, Vic Mensa released “$WISH,” a follow-up to his last track “Strawberry Louis Vuitton. The track features heavy hitters Chance the Rapper and G-Eazy. The single was produced by Massachusetts-based artist and producer Johan Lenox and producer/ songwriter Bongo. This track was destined to be a heater, with all these hands in the pot.
The single debuted with a music video presented by Rocnation, produced by Parallel Studios, and Directed by Simon Chasalow. Set in Chicago, you see Mensa, Chance, and G-Eazy all over the area, skateboarding while holding onto cars, playing poker, and being a part of the fast and high life. They’re dangerous and always ready to pop off at any moment. The song itself features a fast-paced beat on 808s, gives you something to bob your head to, each artist gets their time to shine, and flows switch and shift, and keep you on your toes.
