The West Coast rap scene is getting hot again, and it’s about time! For a while, Cali rappers weren’t getting much love, except for a few big names. But now? Things are changing!
We’ve got new stars like Larry June, 310Babii, and Ray Vaughn climbing the ranks. And don’t forget about OhGeesy! He used to be in Shoreline Mafia (remember them from the SoundCloud days?), and now he’s dropping some fire on his own.

OhGeesy just dropped his new album “Paid N Full,” and it’s a whole vibe. It’s like a snapshot of what West Coast hip-hop sounds like right now. The album’s got 17 tracks and runs for 45 minutes, and OhGeesy’s bringing his A-game.
But here’s the cool part – there are so many features! Novio #2 with Junior H which is a banger I’ve been waiting for, Hit-Boy produced “Keep Goin,” which is pretty sick. OhGeesy’s old Shoreline Mafia buddy Fenix Flexin shows up on “HEAT STICK.” There’s also RTB MB, Kalan.FrFr, and even Lil Tjay on different tracks.
The most exciting features might be Lefty Gunplay and Wallie the Sensei. These guys got super popular after being on Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” album last November. Having them on “Paid N Full” is a big deal!
“Paid N Full” is packed with energy and really shows off what California hip-hop is all about these days. If you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for? Give it a listen and see what the West Coast hype is all about!
