Following the success of his 2021 Coachella performance, Long Beach native Giveon has released his debut album, ‘Give or Take.’ This long-awaited album release is made of 15 tracks, including two of his already fan-favorite songs “For Tonight” and “Lie Again.”
Giveon described this album as “a reflection of love and loss” that he was faced with throughout his life. Further explaining the journey of “growth and healing” he had to accept along the way.
On June 2, Giveon uploaded a 47-second video to YouTube announcing the album to his fans. In the short time, it was a complication of various clips from Giveon throughout his journey in music. A voicemail from his mother talking about the evolution of his career is used as the background audio in which she describes it as “a dream.”
The album trailer received hundreds of comments from ecstatic fans anticipating new music from the young artist.
Since the release of the album, Giveon has been participating in various interviews and talk shows to further spread awareness for his career.
In only two years of being in the music industry, the R&B artist has found himself with multiple awards, worked with various artists, and performed across major music industry stages.
To further the excitement and celebration for his debut album release, Giveon announced that he will be hitting the road for a tour. The “Give or Take” North America Tour is being kicked off on August 16 in Philadelphia, PA. For more information about the “Give or Take” Tour dates and cities check out @Giveon on Instagram.
