Getting into life before fame and fortune, Kodak Black and Roddy Ricch come together on this emotional track.
“I Remember,” opens up with a packed beat and lyrics, complimentary to Roddy Ricch’s lyricism and vocals. Opening up about the pain he feels and how it feels to be famous now, the LA rapper gets personal about how people just want to be around him because of the fame that comes with it. Kodak comes in on the second verse, mentioning how he keeps his group around him at shows in case anything goes down and how he has to keep many aspects of himself on the low because of fame and money.
This is the second collaboration between the two artists, with the first being Roddy Ricch’s 2021, “Hibachi.” Supposed to be on Internet Money’s potential new release, “I Remember,” is a look at what the vibe is behind anything upcoming. The most recent release, the “We All We Got” EP was released last August and featured artists such as Lucki, Ken Carson, Lil Tecca, Yeat, and many more.
